Stonebridge U12Coach Brannigan's notes on Owen since the last update
Thu Sep 24

Owen, real nice job walking the line in the 3-on-2, kept the puck in twice. His gap control is way too soft though, he's backing in all the way to the hash marks and giving the forward the whole zone.

Owen's stick on puck is good, he's taking away the passing lane. First pass out of the zone, he's throwing it up the middle blind. Two turnovers. Gotta look before he gets the puck.

Thu Oct 1

Owen did a great job net front, tying up sticks, boxing out. Good. D-to-D pass was right on the tape.

Owen was whining at the ref the whole second period and slamming his stick on the boards. Knock it off. That's not who we want.

Thu Oct 8

Owen's gap was much better today, he stepped up at the blue line twice. First pass, he's still rushing it. He looked first once and that was good.
