Alder Creek U13 BoysCoach Ortega's notes on Nico since the last update
Mon Sep 21

Nico, first touch was really clean today, he's taking it across his body into space. Not scanning though. He gets the ball and then looks, so he's always a second late.

Nico's half-turn is getting there, he opened up on the back foot a couple times and played forward. Switching play, he's not doing it, he keeps forcing it down the same side into traffic.

Wed Sep 30

Great pressing today from Nico, he read the trigger on the bad touch and won it back twice. Recovery runs though, he's jogging back when we lose it. He's our six, he can't be jogging.

Nico was mouthing off to their eight the whole second half. Getting a yellow for that in a game is just stupid.

Wed Oct 7

Nico was scanning before he received a lot more today, shoulder checks, really good. He switched the point of attack twice to the far winger. Recovery runs still lazy.
